Upon a second look, I'm now not so sure that it is a J-15D since I don't see the prominent wingtip ECM pods.

It is possible that this a navalized J-16, like the one spotted earlier, or maybe this is indeed the J-15S prototype or production version. Time will tell.

@huitong, what are your thoughts on this?
This pic is taken from a video clip about the J15 training unit, so it is not likely to be a J16.

IMO should be a J15S.

IMO should be a J15S.

I agree with you, on a second look, the wing-tip-store looks the same as on the regular J-15. Anyway I haven't seen the J-15S for a long time ... so I was a bit unsure.
