So what does negative China's auto sales growth indicate?
It is not sales number, but manufacturing number.

It is safe to say if they make less car then they sell less car.

And it is safe to say they buy less car because less person can afford a new car.

Maybe the interest paid for the mortgages?
You're just being stupid again, making pointless guesses for topics already discussed. We have talked about this; I don't know why you brought the same information up to try to discuss again. It's not about affordability in China; the more expensive EV vehicle sales are skyrocketing while the cheaper gas-fueled cars are taking a hit. It's the opposite of an affordability problem; it shows that Chinese people want to pay more for a next generation product and want to move away from a last generation product. It is also a successful government initiative to replace traditional cars with EV vehicles to reduce pollution and fuel consumption. Nothing has changed since we last discussed.

So, your explanation is for the fall in car manufacturing output is that the full sale cost INCREASE even if the amount decrease?

I have to say that even if this is the case ( I seriously doubt it : D) it would means there is less middle class customer, and they income has been redistributed to the upper class.

But it is relatively easy to found out, I will check the ratio of classes, and the change of them

China's 2019 trade growth to have strong underpinning: MOC

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said Thursday that the country's foreign trade growth in 2019 will have strong underpinning despite external challenges.

As the country continues to push forward the supply-side structural reform, the structure of China's exports and imports will be further optimized, while growth potential of imports will be boosted, MOC spokesperson Gao Feng told a weekly news briefing.

Gao said although external uncertainties such as protectionism and unilateralism will add challenges to trade growth next year, the trend of economic globalization remains unchanged, and demand from major markets continues to expand.

China's total imports and exports between January and the middle of November this year surpassed the whole trade volume of 2017, an increase of nearly 15 percent from one year earlier, according to customs data.

Trade data during the January-October period revealed that the country's trade market diversification has accelerated, and thus fluctuations in certain markets will have limited impact on the country's broad trade growth, according to Gao.

For the first 10 months of the year, China's foreign trade with the European Union, United States, ASEAN countries and Japan, which each account for 14.7 percent, 13.7 percent, 12.7 percent and 7.1 percent of the total, rose 12.9 percent, 12 percent, 18.5 percent and 10.6 percent respectively compared with one year earlier.

:D, so your line of research is
  1. Establish a statement by "maybe".
  2. Then begin to search for materials to support that "maybe" statement.
I don't think selective choice of facts are actually fact based research.;) Partial facts gathering is not truly fact finding.

The most plausible is the decrease of money in the hand of customers.
@manqiangrexue theory is about the "decrease volume, increase price" , and that is way less plausible.

Any more theory?

I am not talking about whether your proposed explanation is right or wrong. I have no theory, please don't drag me in.
I am ONLY talking about your methodology which is wrong IMO.
