I see, I just hear a lot about how China can make it too expensive for US to mount an attack.
Being able to send j20s to take down high value targets is just as important as good defence.

Per @Bltizo above, being able to send J-20's to take down high value targets is part of a good defence.

There is a video of the J-20 refuelling probe opening action but it is blurred out... however it is clear enough for us to be able to easily put two and two together and confirm the action and the main moving parts, and it certainly confirms the presence of the probe

The caption in the upper right is in the form of a conversation between two individuals, which I will translate below:
Unnamed person, "Mr. Wang, Chrysanthemums (engines) are all lined up, we are going to be busy around the end of the year."

Mr. Wang replies, “Oh it's nothing."

I'm not certain what these engines are, probably WS10 variant(s)?

Based on the drawings, what do you guys think?

Hard to tell which engine it is from the drawing but judging by the interior of the nozzle my guess is they’re AL-31s. The graphic could be implying that we’re about to see a ramp up of J-20 production. May also be implying that if J-20 production hasn’t ramped up yet it’s because airframes were waiting on engines.

I don't think they are talking about those installed on the planes (which clearly are AL-31s) but refer to those on the floor which have different paddle connector implying TVC movement (?).

I tend to think the hint is the WS10 engine is replacing the AL-31s, see how the guy is referring the engines as Chrysanthemum engines a term these guys affectionately refer to the updated WS10 engine on the J10, just my thought.

Chrysanthemum is a slang for engine nozzles in general. It's not specific to any particular model of engine.

There are no engines installed in the planes in the picture. Those are empty nacelles. I'm saying that I think the engines on the floor are AL-31s.
