Zhuhai Air Show 2018

I think we are expecting the FC-31 will be adopted as China's L/O carrier bird, so it would be natural to imagine a "model" might model those future contingency's.

I don't think they'll be making a model for any airshows, though, since the PLAN version would not be for export.

Ain't that FC-31 just a cute little "Bugger", gosh I want one,, I flew my little Brother's new/old 1968 Cessna Cardinal tonight, first landing with 10 degrees of flap was a "greaser", the other two I had a little more flap, #2 pretty slik, #3 a little "crow hop", but the second touch down was also pretty slik, LOL!

Depending on the type of aircraft carrier different modifications might be required. If it is to be used with a catapult for example then it might need reinforcement and a heavier gear. Without the reinforcement use of the tail hook might also result in structural failure.

Pardon, You like to get a description on how I prepare or want to know how my preparations proceeds?

To admit, a length description would surely be boring and probably - o.k. most likely - I forget a lot. However one thing I must confess: I'm more an analyst than a reporter "in situ" or even less a traveller. Preparing such a journey is so much exciting, ... for me a bit too much, especially since I made a stupid mistake (I don't want to speak about it ) concerning my visa and it was all much more difficult to solve than that I imagined.

Anyway, now everything seems to be fine ... and I will arrive on Monday. However given the program my publisher prepared and especially the online restrictions he issued due to security concerns I'm not sure how much I can post directly from Zhuhai. :(

Best,
Deino

Sure, and we knew it would be that way, best to follow established protocol for foreign journo's,, you are there as a guest, and the invitation was extended though your publisher... for your own safety, and to be a welcome guest who "will" no doubt receive another invitation? and that after all is an honor, no doubt copies of your work may have been submitted with the request for a "press pass"??

I would imagine that SDF is a forum of interest to Chinese security forces, and I would be very surprised if a few of our notable members might not be members of those same security teams? or at least monitor the activity of their own members, heck, I wouldn't be surprised if some Western intelligence agencies didn't have some presence here as well??

I would also take a few copies of your magazine articles to share with those who might be interested, I think you will find that you are something of a celebrity on the mainland? I would run that by your publisher, but no doubt there may be those who would like a signed copy...

I would be very clear with the parameters of your visit, but your publisher no doubt wants to protect your work as well?? security will be very tight, and it would be a shame to have someone hack your work.....

Interesting to see FC-31 and J-20 given equal prominence.
