Mind I say why in this photo carrier 001 looks much bigger (longer) than 001A? Is the photo stretched for some reason?

The angle at which this photo was taken from is not directly dead vertical above the carriers so there is a perspective angle that makes it not possible to just measure distances off the photo to compare.

Look at all the the buildings' 4 vertical sides in the photo. You can see a large area of their bottom sides, very little of the left side, and both the right and back sides are not visible. So the shot taken is at an angle and not directly above them.

In fact the length of 001 is a little shorter than 001A's length if measured directly off the photo. But it actually does look like 001 is longer to me visually. So it seems to be an illusion.

In addition the width of 001's ski jump tip seems much shorter than the width of 001A's ski jump tip. All these aret due to perspective of the shot taken.

now I watched the footage (sorry if it's being discussed elsewhere) from inside of the tweet

Looks very impressive and will be more than a handful for ships tasked to protect a carrier battle group.

Wonder what weapons will be a good counter for them. Missiles will need to be guided and hence not be cheap given the quantity. CIWS would probably need more than 4 times the quantity that are currently on ships, increasing not only cost but taking away space and premium vantage points on the ship.

Probably drone vs drones? Then it would be AI vs AI (attacking swarm continually disperse n regroup and opponent swarm reacts, counter-reacts & cycle repeats) and similar to robot wars.
