I found these two photos. Seems to be the helmet in display.

The positions of bumps match.

On the side, one information card says "AR Eye Glasses", the other says "VR display".

There seems to be two layers of glasses. The outer layer could be just protection like sun glass. The inner layer should be the projection screen of any digital images.
[Esdit], just find out the projector

Good memory! I actually have those two images saved on my hard drive but did not remember them!

Those two pictures are actually taken of the same helmet at the same exhibit.

Take note that in the first picture, we can clearly see the tinted sun visor flipped up, which could also be made out in the second picture.

You don’t need two layers of sun protection, which means the entire green area, which is pretty much the entire faceplate, is the display! That would make this the HMD with the biggest and widest angle displace I have ever seen or heard of.

The green tint is very similar to the colouring of the newer Chinese HUDs, which is further evidence the entire faceplate is the display screen.

Can't be sure if it's sped up but seems like very minimal deflection from canard and stabilisers. TVC will add another dimension of maneuverability without deflecting canards.

under “actual war conditions,” Air Force spokesman Senior Col. Shen Jinke posted to the service’s microblog. He called that a “further upgrade of the Air Force’s combat capabilities.”

China said in February that the plane had obtained initial operational capability and was being introduced into combat units.

First flown in 2011, the J-20 is China’s answer to fifth-generation jets such as the U.S. F-22 and F-35.

With its stealthy capabilities, speed and maneuverability, it potentially represents a major upgrade to Chinese air power, although questions have been raised about some of its technology, specifically its engines.

Though domestically developed, the J-20 is believed to have initially relied on Russian engines for propulsion due to manufacturing problems in China.

Some reports say they have since been replaced with Chinese engines, the WS-10B, which do not have a big enough thrust-to-weight ratio to allow the J-20 to cruise at supersonic speeds without using afterburners, something that would expose it to detection.

China increased its defense budget by 8.1 percent this year to 1.1 trillion yuan (U.S. $172.7 billion) as it prepares to launch its second aircraft carrier and field an array of advanced warplanes and

Why are Western analysts/reporters always so quick to conclude that the J-20 cannot super-cruise??? Didn't we already get semi-confirmation for super-cruising from some of the pilots during the August 1st parade? And where did the author get his information on the WS-10B T/W ... moreover, why is thrust the only criteria in this case? Really lazy reporting by AP.

They never outright stated that the J-20 could supercruise. All they really confirmed is that the J-20 is unmatched in the supersonic regime, which implies good supersonic maneuverability/handling.

BTW, supercruise is not entirely related to thrust to weight performance. I think the author is just parroting stuff he read from other publications.

Probably because to date, we have no concrete information that the engines available are capable of providing that kind of "dry thrust"...
