ISIS/ISIL conflict in Syria/Iraq (No OpEd, No Politics)

and now noticed in Twitter (

if those pictures showed what they said they're showing, to my untrained eye the missile would look like an SA-3 Goa

... but now noticed РИА quoting (

... actually back then I just confused with WW2 Eastern Front;

in fact it's a slow, containment operation (the Turkish strategy here probably is to connect "the dents" around the border first):

the map should be "clickable"; it's

and I'll just use the same map, with blue color for ISIL again etc.; since then
  • ISIL, with its pocket shrinking, now took it into Insurgents territory through for example

    ("Niha" marked in the map below);
  • Goverment took over the previously Insurgents-held areas to the northeast, the line of contact is now straighten there, let's say up to

from what I now figured in Internet, that ISIL formation got hit both in its front (by Insurgents) and in the rear (by Government), probably within the curved blue line I put in the above map
(of course I don't say this was coordinated)

" Egypt's military has destroyed dozens of targets, killed 16 militants and detained over 30 suspects as part of its latest operation against Islamic militants in the restive northern Sinai Peninsula, the army said on Sunday.

Spokesman Col. Tamer el-Rifai said that airstrikes hit vehicles, weapons caches, communications centers and illegal opium fields in the sweep, which began on Friday and comes as a response to a pickup in extremist violence in Egypt."

Incredible implications here. Russia's own mercenaries are acting independently of Russian armed forces command. Not only can Russia not control regime/Iranian-led forces, it can't control its own contractors. Unprecedented and deeply disturbing.

My observations are that Russia has rightly intervened in Syria, effectively stopping a "foreign" contrived regime change. No state has any legal right to meddle in another state's internal affairs. More so, no state has any authority or right to change the government of another state. Such an act is aggressive, illegal, immoral, undemocratic and goes against the very fabric of respecting the legitimate right of all independent states to proceed in their internal matters as they see fit. As Such, America, Britain and Saudi Arabia are equally guilty of this criminal act.

One has to be blind as a bat, not to see the results of "foreign" contrived regime changes in Iraq and Libya. Both countries have suffered immeasurable carnage, death and destruction.

As things stand in Syria right now, it is clear that outsiders like America, Britain, Saudi Arabia and Iran are fighting their own war on soil which is not their own. Iran is equally as guilty as Saudi Arabia, America and Britain to use the internal conflict in Syria as a means to advance their own agendas. The Shia-Sunni divide has been exploited to it's fullest by all parties mentioned. Except for Russia which has openly opposed the hegemony of America and Britain. For far too long has this gone unanswered, where countries like Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Afghanistan have been reduced to rubble. Countless innocent lives lost and for what? For that reason, I believe Russia has done the right thing in intervening in Syria, where Americans, Brits, Saudis and others have already created hell in Syria. Russia has shown exceptional restraint, resolve and transparency in its role in Syria. Be it when it's aircraft was shot down by Turkey. Or when American aircraft bombed areas controlled by Syrian-Russian forces.

The time for lies, deceit and playing games is over now. No more shall the world remain ignorant and blind to the lies that have been spread in the name of war and destruction. Lies told about Gulf of Tonken, Iraq-WMD or Libya will no longer a tactic that will work to fool the world into thinking that it's the truth.
