Awesome video, sure would be exciting to see when the Russian Navy has its Super Aircraft Carriers - Shtorm, Nuclear Destroyers - Lider, reinforced by Frigates - Gorshkovs, Gregirovichs, Corvettes - Steregushchiys.
Irrespective of all the pessimism thrown around that the Russians won't ever be able to do it. I for one am rooting for them, as the world needs an "equalizing force" to balance the power on this planet of ours. I take a note from the methodology which was etched into America's political system. Whereby the Congress has always been there to keep a check on the Executive Branch (Presidency) and the Judiciary (Supreme Court) to keep a check on both the Congress and Executive branches. So to, we need Russia, China to redress the balance of power vis-a-vis America and Europe.
So ... am looking forward to a resurgent Russian Navy!!

Sounds like a lot of Wishful thinking There, The Track Record and political says otherwise.
Back in October they halved the Budget for the Admiral Kuznetsov's much overdue refit and modernization.
The May Military rearmament draft projecting projects from 2017-2025 made no mention of the Shtorm or nuclear destroyer program. The Russian Surface Navy has always been the weaker of the Services and first to take the cuts.

We shall see, my dear friend ... we shall see. I haven't given up on the Russians rearming their Navy. The Chinese can do it, so will the Russians. It's just a matter of time.
