Looks to me like X3 version 2.0?
1200px-Ila12_X3_0600_b1.jpg
The X3 is a true compound helicopter or gyrodyne, single main rotor with 2 tractors swapped in this new version for pushers. and additional lift from wings.
As with all single rotor choppers it needs a means to counter the Torque of the main rotor. normally that would mean a tail rotor, however in the X3 Eurocopter now Airbus used one of the additional propellers.
the design has potential for a number of civil roles and scout even scout attack and cargo but I am not sure about transport due to the potential problems of troops shooting into or running into the spinning rotors.

Polish Navy to commission first Kormoran II minehunter on Navy anniversary

The Polish Navy’s first Kormorant II-class minehunter ORP ‘Kormoran’ has passed all state and builder’s trials and was officially transferred to the navy on November 17.

According to a navy announcement, the minehunter is now set to be commissioned in Gdynia on November 28, on the day of the Polish Navy anniversary.

Built by Remontowa Shipbuilding, ORP Kormoran (hull number 601) is the first of proposed three vessels in her class. Construction of Kormoran’s two sister ships is yet to start.

The 58.5 meter long minehunter started construction in April 2014 and was launched on September 4, 2015.

With a complement of 45 personnel and a top speed of 15 knots, ORP Kormoran will be used to clear mines in Poland’s exclusive economic zone in addition to joining NATO’s mine countermeasure groups in the Baltic and North Sea.

The non-magnetic steel-hulled ORP Kormoran displaces 850 tons, features the locally-developed SCOT-M combat management system and is equipped with Saab’s Double Eagle Mk III remotely operated vehicle (ROV). The ship is armed with a twin-barreled auto-cannon in addition to machine guns and rocket launchers. The ship is expected to be fitted Polish-made Tryton 35 mm cannon instead of the 23 mm auto-cannon.

Gripen and g-force

Sorry Forbin, I JUST now watched that very impressive video! there's not a man on SDF who could ride through that demo and stay awake, much less fly it?? Illustrates very well when the Air Force Brat states that F-22, Draken, SU-35, F-35, Typhoon, and J-20, J-15 drivers are ALL SUPERMEN!

from -3 Gs to +9 G's, inverted, maintaining spatial orientation in all those situations is borderline impossible, but for those real men, and they are REAL MEN! they are beyond tough, they are SUPERMEN!

love the cockpit display, aircraft external view, and G meter super-imposed on the the same screen,,, wears you out just watching doesn't it???

to my knowledge there are NO female military airshow "SOLOs", a very few girls on flight teams,,, but they aren't pushing their birds as this gentleman did? I would guarantee you that 95% of the population could watch this video and have NO IDEA what they have just witnessed?? NO IDEA!

now there are some chicks who can pull 9 and -3, but precious few, and this young gent, he's a well above average operator,, I'm sure there are likely female civilian airshow pilots who "could" fly this routine, but to do so in a heavy, (yes they are all HEAVY!)military aircraft? that requires an "engineering degree" to go along with your talent!
