PLAN Fleet supply vessels

Good stuff !
Well...they are getting a couple of carrier and a couple of large fast replenishment ships.

But to say they are fast bridging the gap is a huge overstatement.

These current carriers are 40-50 year old technology, and by US standards severl generations behind.

The two large rep vessels are nie, but the US has many of them and is well versed with decaes and decades of operational experience using them.

The PLAN Is building a blue water Navy, and I give them credt it for that. But they are no where close to bridging the gap.

It would be better stated that they have gotten to a point where they can at least see the gap now...where before, they had no blue water capability at all.

It will be twenty years of continued heavy building and heavy training before they can start talking about really appreciably closing the gap.

Lovely shot right on the button

Great naval fleet

It gets better though there is another 901 in the water

Plus another 2 Type 071 and one under construction

Now add that up !

These heavy tonnage ships are fine
