Whatever you believe won`t change what they say in Argentina, you can say it is a conspiracy theory and so on, in Argentina they do not have the same point of view of, regardless of what or you believe, the Super Eternard has the kill marks

I can paint a kill mark of an F-22 on my grand kid's tricycle...that does not make it any more likely that it happened than that pic.

As i said...we have had the argument with many and in the end...there is no evidence. One guy painting a kill mark on an Eternard and saying he hit the carrier is not evidence.

There would have been hundreds, literally hundreds of people who saw it on the carrier and surrounding ships...including the press. Yet there is not one iota of testimony or comment about it.

They readily reported all of the other hits and sinking...but this guy and you want us to believe that the flagship took a hit from a missile and there is no evidence of it...no repairs, no marks, no evidence, and the flagship proudly steamed back to England with no ill effect.

As I said...it is not merely my word against his word. Yes, I admit it is his word...but it is trumped by the obvious lack of empirical evidence that would have had to exist had he done such a thing...but ther was none then, and there hasn't been any in all of the years since.

Sort of like my grand kid's tricycle...it never happened.

Guys,

i know I'm late to the party but maybe it was just a strafing run from like miles away and hit squat or maybe killed a few turtles and fish! ... so the pilots embellished their stories kinda thing and painted kill marks on their aircraft... akin to a fisherman's tale.

so technically they are right.. they did 'attack' Invincible. She just wasn't damage is all.

Anyway just givin my 2c..

I am not the pilot, is his word against your opinion, if the mission did happen well neither you or I can prove it. i was not in that war, there are many explanations we could give about what happened, and at the end neither you or i will change our mind as you will not change the fact the Etendard has the kill mark, enjoy the picture as it is, explain it as you wish, no need to argue

This is not about reading spanish or not. It is not about my word against his.

it is simply about the facts...and what facts there are make it clear that it never happened.

Now, I suggest you just let it drop. No need for any more argument or your high handed responses.

We have been through this on several occasions and on this site...you are not going to get any traction...in fact you at exactly like a guy who tried and tried to do so...and argued about it just like you. He was ultimately banned.

"Kill Marks" Can mean a lot of different things in different time, The only way that mark makes any sense is if it's not a kill but rather some other meaning. They can mean attacked a target but they can also mean photographed a Target simulated attacked a target. of these my money's on photos.
