I did some digging.

Apparently, the company that made the paratrooper's equipment (which was still in testing) is Huntec, or "润泽金松". They are apparently a major supplier of equipment to the PLA and is also seeking to sell its products to other countries as well.

Holes in military combat helmets, what an interesting innovation.

It's a bump helmet, IE a Brain bucket intended to protect from impacts and debris not ballistic threats. Lots of swat and SF teams use them.

yes the silly little glow sticks you give to children have a tactical version.they can be used in urban to mark area's already secured

Don't think so. These photos feel like marketing materials. The armbands are the manufacturer's logo.

Interesting program about China military reform. Armed forces is more than flashy jet, tank etc. More important is the command and control, organization, integration, logistic etc

I am pretty much the first time the Liaoning will be operationally deployed will be during a humanitarian disaster relief op.

The J15 pilots will have to stay at home, but the carrier should be good to go at short notice for such a mission.

It will be a great opportunity to test the ship and crew for intensive operations in real world situations without the downsides of people shooting at you; had politics or bad blood from bombing and killing people. It will also generate a lot of goodwill.
