This is Deino's new book...and it is already out on Amazon.

IS this the one we have been speaking of Deino, that the publisher did not want you to prematurely announce?

From the Introduction/Summary of the book:

amazon said:
From the South China Sea to the mountains of Nepal, the continued economic rise of the People’s Republic of China has led to a dramatic shift in the balance of power in the region. As a result, the relationship between China and its neighbors, as well as with the United States and its allies, has become increasingly important for the future of the region – and for the rest of the world. This uniquely compact yet comprehensive directory serves as a richly illustrated, in-depth analysis and overview of the most important conflicts in which China is currently involved – and those that it is likely to be involved with in the future – with a particular focus on People's Liberation Army air power.

I decided, since Deino is already very well published with books that many of us here have read, and since he is recognized and respected universally in military quarters regarding air power, and since we have one of his other Chinese related books highlighted, to make another thread for this new book of his.

Can't wait to get it and read it.

Just pre-ordered Deino's book on Amazon, waiting to pre-order Dragons Fury II next. How's that coming along, Jeff?
Hehehe...slowly, my friend.

With the big trip to Houston and my medical checkup, I have not made much progress the last six weeks or so. Hope to get back on it this fall.

I will post here to SD as soon as I either have more content to share, or when it is going to print.

In the meant time...Deino has this new book out there, and it is a factual, non-fiction look that I am excited to get.

To me its senseless to buy books on Chinese air power as things are moving so fast in China that by the time the book hits the shelfs the information in it is already outdated.:(

The best place to keep track of Chinese military development is on internet forums like SDF.:D

yes for you, but the majority of military enthusiasts are not as knowledgeable as you are, and the book will be good and relevant for at least 3 years. I may order one
