...
or check the latest, which is the Admiral Grigorovich (745) test-firing
the Shtil AA system; can't find anything in English right now; Russian wiki:

in the video they say it successfully took down a target (drone) representing an airplane (around 00:20);

later they say the AA fire-control system of the ship (for AA missiles and guns) can track up to 30 targets within 50 km at once;

they're showing the 100 mm ready for an AA fire, but later they show it firing at rather low elevation (and I doubt it could work as a CIWS);

then they talk about the "Kalibr NK" system the ship mounts; recently I posted about it in the Syria Thread, in case you didn't know why LOL you can go to:

or

and at the end they also say the testing is always watched ... from the video around 02:25:

Can somebody identify?

EDIT
now I noticed the Admiral Grigorovich should be commissioned in December, according to Russian wiki-page:

Good find bro :D:)

Finaly 24 cell's in two VLS annouced before 36 in three very interesting. VLS willing in length not in width. Again cold launch.

For new " Kaliber NK " :
This Grigorovich class with Gorshkov and Buyan M have the UKSK VLS and can reveive the new Kaliber NK in fact 3M-14S/SS-N-30A which get a range about 1500 km LACM exist also SS-N-30/3M-14E but range 275 km. Exist also others SSM variants up to 300 km.
A particular case the 2nd Gepard " Dagestan " can be armed also with this LACM but seems don' t have UKSK VLS so launched by SS-N-25 launcher ? or have received ?

New Kilo and Yasen get also it almost sure also Nakhimov later.

I think they have few 3M-14S very recent missiles and anyway no comparison with USN ships which have all dozens* Tomahawk, Submarines also and USN have a total of 3000.
* Ofc SM-2 and some SM-6 are the most numerous with some SM-3 and VL Asroc.

We waiting China with a LACM on 052D or 093B finaly Russians more fast.

(among other things, the length-difference between the two missiles would be like two meters)
Big difference ! but new LACM long range 3M-14S/SS-N-30A do 8 m vs 6.2 for others variants all Klub, Sizzler, Klub SS-N-27/30 3M-14 or 3 M-54... ! except submarine lauched SS-N-27/3M-54E-1 do 8.2 m.
Extremely difficult many close variants.

So i think Dagestan had or recently modified with a UKSK VLS.
Very interesting know UKSK VLS can launch LACM long range 3M-14S/SS-N-30A of 8 m because it could very well only allow the launching of others 6.2 m long.

Waiting pictures same for new LACM long range 3M-14S/SS-N-30A infos we have almost for him now i think for some months max we have all spécifications sometimes difficult with Russia but some very good sites on the net fortunately much easier than for China not to mention the language/writing problem ! :rolleyes:

For LACM long range 3M-14S/SS-N-30A accuracy annouced 3/5 m seems optimist new weapons for Russia about 5/10m is better also i don' t think Glonass system is exceptionnal, maybe a Sputnik announcement :cool:

Let' s get busy the French for find it with a big investigation but nothing sure immediately :)

The strategic value of the ship is not so great that Russia should hesitate to make use of it to make use of it in support of Syria.
And no doubt it's use will be of great value to the morale of the crew and the navy.
But the news we got doesn't seem to be from a reliable source.
