I can see that some Darth Vader type moderation is beginning to be necessary. Remember the original Movie and series "Walking Tall?"

We have rules. On all threads and in all forums.

No sexual themes, particularly not like what was shown here. We do not allow that, we do not allow language, we do not allow political/ideological posturing, etc.

Even on the "What the Heck," thread we will maintain the rules for the SD forum.

Anymore of this type of stuff will lead to warnings, suspensions, and bannings. If we cannot keep it presentable...this thread will be closed.

DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS MODERATION

Anyone notice news sites are eliminating their comments sections to their articles? Bloomberg, NYPost, and now I just noticed the National Interest seems to have eliminated their comments section.

Staff at Tama Zoo in Tokyo have been practicing their drill for animal escapes. Here, a 'snow leopard' gives a friendly wave as it makes a break for freedom...

I am not so impressive with this gun but what catches my eyes are the labels "NOT MAN FIREABLE". So what is it for?

It's a early working prototype and as such all the bugs have yet to be worked out including the possibility of a catastrophic failure I.E. KABOOM!!
This unit will be bench tested fired by remote control using a simple trigger pulling mechanism until the engineers have achieved a set number of bench shots and proven that it will not explode then they will move on and trial building units for manned firing.
