We love peace. We, however, are not afraid of wars.

Agonizing Bliss

As a common high school student in modern China, my English grammar and vocabulary are limited. Thus, please forgive me about my juvenile language. Nevertheless, this is an idea presented by normal citizens in ML,China.
Chinese people always love peace. Many fellows say that the developing China is hazardous because of power. I do not know how can they concluded so roughly. In the past three thousands years, China seldom took wars to other countries for land and resources. The biggest problem

AB, your comment as a young man is truly commendable. I am familiar with the feelings of young Chinese students about Peace & Progress, as I taught them at the Universities in Macau & Guangzhou as a visiting lecturer in mid-2000. Wars & hostilities create disastrous consequences - can be seen over the TV on what is presently happening in the ME (Gaza, Iraq), where the innocent civilians and children suffer greatly. It's therefore important for leaders of countries to work very hard to avoid unnecessary conflicts. Sometimes they should agree to disagree on issues, & move on to other non-conflicting areas like economic cooperations etc. Pl note that not all military men and veterans are war mongers. A good number who have had the experience know the futility and the unnecessary waste of lives during conflicts. PEACE to me stands for "People (should) Ensure and Acknowledge (the importance of) Co-Existing (with) Everyone".

You have oversimplified the situation. I can only represent a small group of young poeple in Sino.
Thanks to the modern chinese education, the growing number of bellicose and violent people is uping to the roof.
And I want to ask you?
Why all the people call me AB?
I joined a QQ group about English-Chinese Translation. No fellows does not cal be AB.

I called you AB in short for "Agonizing Bliss". For your info, the meanings of the 2 words: "Agonizing" is intolerable suffering, & "Bliss" is peaceful feeling. So those 2 words in English are contradictory, unless u want to subscribe to that kind of thinking . BTW, as a young person, a teacher's advice is try not be influenced by anyone or ideology. You should be an independent thinker, regardless of where you are, if you want to progress. Best of luck.
