That is 052D number two leaving for its first sea trial, not 052D hull one.

Ok here's the update on the Type 052C/D
C5 and C6 are on trials and should be commissioned this year as 152 and 153 to ESF to join 150 and 151 completing that Flotilla
D1 and D2 are on trials and D1 should get commissioned at the very end of this year with D2 coming in 2015
D1 and D2 are 172 and 173 joining the two original C1 and C2 at SSF 170 and 171 so it will be a mixed Flotilla there
D3 is launched and fitting out most likely wont get commissioned until sometime in 2015 along with D2
D4 is in the right hand building hall most likely to be launched soon
D5 I believe is now under construction in the left hand hall and modules for D6 are appearing
So we have for Type 052C/D
ESF 150-153
SSF 172-175
NSF 117-120

That's all.
Nope, just a note that it was just too fast. Chinese shipyards and craftsmen can surely build ships. Just too fast and too much follow up without paying too much attention to details.

Yes, I also do not believe the left hall will be building 052Ds.
I speculate that now that it's finished with cargo ships, it may move onto 055 -- or more likely, it will build the two 10,000 ton coast guard cutters first, before it starts with 055.
Either way, I believe that the left hall will soon be back in business again, and also that there will be a year or two when the left hall is building 055 and the right hall is building 052D concurrently.
