picture of 022 flotilla. Kind of unexpectedly, they have 9 022s in this flotilla. I've also seen 7 022s together in pictures of other flotilla. I guess the flotilla size may not be fixed at 8 as I previously thought.

These old pictures are from the South Sea Fleet's 208 Fast Attack Squadron at Shangchuandao.

The six identified 022 squadrons did start out with 8 boats apiece, but have since been brought up to a strength of 12 each.

That sort of information is pieced together from many different sources.

But you will get a good view of the base at GE, 21 43 55 N 112 45 51 E - with only seven 022's present, though.

It appears that the Type 022 squadron at Shangchuandao is not actually designated 208 Squadron, but only carries on the tradition of that former torpedo boat squadron. The PLAN 022 squadrons are reportedly numbered like this:

30 Missile Boat Squadron Ningbo-Shipu (29 10 51 N 121 56 51 E)
31 Missile Boat Squadron Fuding-Shacheng (27 14 05 N 120 22 43 E)
32 Missile Boat Squadron Shangchuandao (21 43 48 N 112 45 59 E)
33 Missile Boat Squadron Qingdao-Lingshanwei (35 54 54 N 120 09 18 E)
34 Missile Boat Squadron Shantou (23 20 27 N 116 39 15 E).

Not China Coast Guard, but possibly one of the China Rescue Dong Hai Jiu 201 class ships.

You can compare with Nan Hai Jiu 201 at Haikou (20 01 32 N 110 16 35 E).

Thanks a lot.
And quarter-pack visible at Zhoushan must belong to 30th Sq., right?
Then 37.30.35/122.07.32 and 23.05.25/113.25.24 - continuous production?
