A hundred million Indians doesn't mean the best. That would be a complete brain drain if it were so you know what it's is really for... It's to India's benefit not Canada's. The world doesn't see the value as Indians would like to believe. You would get more out from a random million Chinese.
I think many western countries realize now that india is NOT a huge cauldron of hard-working geniuses /technologists(but frauds/scammers/outright criminals) just ready to help out their fellow indo-europeans -especially against China. As all the invasive immigration avenues dry up,protests like Cockroach party will get even more frequent/intensify.

I very much hope many, many of the indian generals/admirals are like this-stupid,arrogant and corrupt-no wonder india has been attacked/conquered so many times.
The Indian military high command has never excised its hubris or its delusional assumptions. When the British left their newly created nation-state, India absorbed all of the British Raj territories (hence the ongoing disputes with China over Tibet and Aksai Chin). They also assumed they had inherited British military prowess. That hubris and arrogance were on full display when they fought China in 1962, only to be thoroughly humiliated. To this day, they still place the blame on the equally pompous and arrogant Nehru and his high-caste generals.
Introspection is not a strong suit in Indian culture, and even less so in Hindutva culture. They are far more concerned with izzat and log kya kahenge (“what will people say”).
One only has to look at India’s so-called military modernization drive under Modi. More than ten years have passed, and the Air Force remains undermanned and ill-equipped. But no worries — according to some “world air force ranking” publication staffed mostly by Indians, they are still ranked ahead of communist China.
They constantly invoke the phrase “mother of democracy” and “the largest democracy in the world,” as if that means anything for economic development or military modernization. As a result, people in the country, along with the babus, remain inattentive and lackadaisical about the urgency of their military programs.
Arrogance mixed with denialism is a deadly combination that produces inaction. So when a possible (even if unlikely) kinetic conflict between China and India eventually occurs, and India gets walloped by China as expected, the usual hand-wringing and blame-shifting will follow. It will be a rinse-and-repeat episode of every major failure India has faced as a modern nation-state since 1947. Sad all around.

Don't read too much into India's government or military officials and wonder why they aren't making rational choices. The country is run by a bunch of criminals (not just corruption or ineptitude, some have criminal cases ranging from rape to murder) to stay in power so as to pillage the people for their own benefit.

Prior to the XHS exodus, Americans were really thinking that if they went to China, they’d be locked up and have their organs harvested. In fact, some of the older folks in Taiwan still believe this as well.

The novel and film “Life of Pi” is basically how Indians subvert other nations, akin to a conman trying to trick you, telling you to ignore your lying eyes so he can keep scamming you. They appeal to emotions to manipulate you, and once they have you at a disadvantage, they will exploit you to the full, so the moral of the story is to seek truth from facts. “Life of Pi”’s message was basically a form of opiate of the masses, “we can convince ppl to put up with being exploited and the shit state of affairs if we can convince them mentally that it’s a wonderful beautiful story”. The film encourages ppl to take on this opiate as opposed to taking action.
Ironicslly, Chinese ppl and Chinese civilisation perfectly embodies the white nationalist narcissistic fantasy of the “Faustian spirit”.

In the Middle Ages and early modern times, unbaptized Jews were generally not allowed into Christian schools. In the most developed countries, these restrictions were gradually lifted, at least officially. Only in Russia, Romania and Hungary (and after World War I, in Poland, as well as later in Hitler's Germany) official restrictions on Jews were maintained.

In 1887 the percentage for Jews to enter gymnasiums and universities was established, and was 10% in
