It's not even that. This is just making shit up. Look for any possibilities to take photos or videos that can be misconstrued so that someone who either doesn't bother to check or wants to believe can be made to believe a false claim. That is not about having high standards for anyone; that is about ceding reality and retreating into a self-created fiction that you know is false just for comfort. This is like taking a picture of your unrequited crush kissing her boyfriend, then cutting his face off to tape your face on and pretending you're married, then inviting all your monkey-ass friends (who are too stupid or scared to ask why the wife is a cardboard cut-out) to celebrate your love together.
I know, had seeing a lot these guy editing pictures and using pictures and videos out context. Like the guy who used a video of some very poor place in Philippines to say was China when the text in video was clearly no Chinese. I said to myself, how this guy doesn't feel ashamed of himself? how putting easy to debunk stuff help their cause and country?
That’s why China is the way it is and they are the way they are and will never become a proper power in a thousand years.
i dig it. these people are actually china's friends. if china is not fraudulent and truly better, people will find out sooner or later, and the backswing effects of people discovering they were duped are even stronger. if nothing else, it helps focus factfinding efforts where there may once have been apathy.

Exactly. The Gordon Chang types delayed the trade war by 10 years because China was going to implode by itself and deceived the round eyes to think they didn't need to confront China until it is way too late.
Take it to the logical extreme. If they do realize the true magnitude of China's rise, do you expect them to act immediately and confront? Saving an extra 10 years made China more resilient, stronger, more time. If you expect confrontation to be inevitable, it's better they underestimate you to their huge detriment.
And to your point, the truth will appear as a matter of time, as people visit China and see what's it really like. The abrupt realization that they have been fed propaganda is even powerful antidote shock that will lead to cycle of doubt/questioning of their own system.

What a great metaphor for Europe. They’re going to experience a drop in their sense of value of what they think they’re worth to the world. You know the only reason why Europe thinks they can hold out and win is because of the arrogance they think people can't live without them. They look at like Asians who so want to be white supporting their fantasy but if you think about it Asians that worship white people as gods are operating on pure selfishness. It's not like they can conspire with others. Like the saying goes... There's no honor among thieves. Thieves operate on selfishness hence why no one, even within thieves, can trust them because priority number one is themselves. I never met a white worshipper who didn't ultimately see people of like mind as competition to white attention. They get jealous if they see another Asian getting more attention than they get from whites. Why do you think all pro-West Asian countries hate China? China is not kissing white butt and yet the West suffers from China derangement syndrome.
Europe too afraid of selling their big ticket advanced technology to big market developed countries like China so they're relegated to selling what China can buy from anyone else. Who's fault is that? But they want engineered economics when free market capitalism doesn't work in their favor. They want China locked into deals where China has to buy "x" amount from them no matter. They don't want China to be able to break commitments when they see fit like they regularly do. Look at how they don't have to follow their own environmental concerns when they suffer energy hardships like they would expect everyone else to.
