Supporting the J-35AE to Pakistan speculation is this picture from the Pakistani embassy in China. It looks like it's carrying YJ-15 missiles:"Cross posting from Pakistan Armed Forces Thread"

As per the above press briefing by the Dy. ACM, the key takeaways are:
- Next-generation fighters (J35AE??)
- Additional J-10Cs
- More advanced JF-17 variants
He also mentioned that the groundwork has already been completed for the induction of the above platforms.
Regarding the “more advanced JF-17s,” which block/variant is he referring to?

There's a 10? year backlog if you want to order F-35s, which is the only other 5th Gen stealth fighter available for export sales. And can you rely on the US anymore?
In comparison, I think a J-35 export order could be delivered in 2-3 years, given what I expect the J-35 production ramp to be (40+ annually), and that we're already at 100+ J-20 per year.
So sparing some J-35 for exports is not a big deal
It looks like they are making 100+ J-20 and another 100+ J-35 per year, so that they are satisfied enough with exporting some J-35 fighter jets.
I don't think it's one engine is suitable for that especially in actual missions. there's dual-seater fighters with one engine but they're only for training, and you won't buy J-35AE for that.'Will there be a dual seater J-35AE variant for export customers? Unlike USAF, PLAAF seems to prefer dual seat fighters for dedicated MUM-T command node.
What are you saying? J-35 is a dual engine fighter- did you get it mixed up with Fat Amy?I don't think it's one engine is suitable for that especially in actual missions. there's dual-seater fighters with one engine but they're only for training, and you won't buy J-35AE for that.'
More importantly, if China doesn't have an operation value to do the work needed for that, no customer available right now will be willing to fund this variant.
J-35A can work as C2 node with the help of AEW&C craft, maybe do the C2 alone if you want to command a limit amount of fighters - like 1 or 2 - especially if you made this UCAV in complete suit (flying, sensing, shooting) so it only need a command to execute --> so no need to that kind of investment for that.
that's only my opinion so.
