I think ZQ-2 has launched before no? I think their first successful launch was in 2023, though the 2E version is an improved version of that. I’m surprised after 3 years they haven’t been able to established a frequent launch cadence for ZQ-2 . I’m not sure if this time will be different

I'd say the report was not accurate. It says 3 uncrewed flight circling the moon and 1 crewed landing between 2028 and 2030 inclusive. Firstly there is no way that anyone would send men on the moon surface without at least once a mock landing, so 3 circling is definitely wrong. Since this discription is wrong, it is not surprising that the time frame is also wrong. PLA daily is not more authoritive than other state media in this matter, example is that PLA's weibo account has made mistake in using F-22 in place of J-20 in their social media post.

Unless CNSA or CASC says something else, nothing has changed.
