China blocks us sanctions
If the US sanctions Chinese banks in return, then it's the end of US dollar as the global reserve. The only point to holding dollars was to buy 1. oil from the middle east 2. manufactured goods form China. Reason number 1 is at a complete impasse at the moment. Kill reason number 2 and why even have dollars at all? For a "safe asset" harbor? Lol! What safety is there in holding paper that is worth 10% less each passing year?

Doesn't take insider knowledge, China's oil reserve status is openly reported by Bloomberg. That guy is baiting somebody with actual insider knowledge to rebuke him. Do not take the bait.
Most people don't realize that the entire global USD oil trade is just a small fraction of Chinese export, in 2025 China's export was $3.7 trillion, while total global oil export, that's OPEC+US was only ~$600B or just 16% of Chinese export value. China's acceptance of USD is the arguably the ONLY reason USD still has value and you can very much make the case that the US economy itself only exist at China's pleasure. If the US sanctions Chinese banks in return, then it's the end of US dollar as the global reserve. You are talking as if China itself isn't the 4th largest oil producer in the world while buying up the bulk of Russian/Brazilian/ROW supplies. Gas prices are coming down in China, and if there is a chain of nations being starved of fuel, China will be pretty close to the end of the list.
Also, if the sailors are starving to death in the Gulf, there'd be Tiktok/insta/Twitter posts long before that happens. Look at what's happening right now in the US Navy. Things are so dire that OPSEC are being completely ignored. Meanwhile civilian sailors are silent while being starved to death?
I do wonder if the poster is from the other Asian superpowa. What he is describing certainly seem plausible over there.
On April 24, Punai Shares released an announcement regarding a major matter, stating that the company has received the "Indictment" served by the Yingkou City People's Procuratorate of Liaoning Province.
The procuratorial authorities determined that Punai Shares and relevant responsible persons violated customs supervision regulations. Without obtaining export licenses for dual-use items, they deliberately evaded national export control supervision through the illegal means of misreporting product names and smuggled natural flake graphite for export.
The total volume of natural flake graphite involved in this illegal export is 1,243.55 tons, with a total amount involved of 5.9847 million yuan. Currently, the procuratorial authorities have initiated criminal proceedings against the company and relevant involved persons on the charge of smuggling goods prohibited by the state from import or export, to investigate their criminal liability according to law.
This incident exposes loopholes in the company's import and export compliance management. The subsequent trial and penalty results of the case will have potential impacts on the company's operations, reputation, and compliant operations.
Spin up the lethal injection machines...seems not yet posted before, about alleged illegal export of Graphite from CN.
The US regime itself is not in such a great shape. There is a lot going on behind the scenes that the general public is not aware of. I am vaguely connected to the state-owned oil and refinery industry and this is all I dare say on a public forum like SDF:
The US blockade is effective. Tankers and cargo ships that Iran lets through, the US doesn't let through. There are dozens, perhaps hundreds, of sailors who have already died from starvation or disease, trapped on the ships unable to escape the Gulf. No solution in sight.
CN refineries will run out of crude reserves at the end of May. They have been ordered by the big boss(es) to keep the refineries running no matter what, perhaps at reduced capacity, but there are no clear instructions as to where a stable supply of crude will come from. Here, we are supposed to cross our fingers and pray. Maybe the big boss(es) have something up their sleeves.
Make of this what you will.
What Does China Think Of The U.S.-Iran War?
Idiots, man — I tell you, bloody IDIOTS!! The people who will ultimately bring the most harm to China are the same kind of inbred merchants who worship nothing but money, money, and more money. Regret always comes later, when their cash fails to buy them any real stature, position, or the complete security and safety they think it guarantees!seems not yet posted before, about alleged illegal export of Graphite from CN.
You serve in the US military?I've been on this forum for 10 years relaying rumours from CD and FY and other bits of the grapevine (iykyk), at least until they were shut down, and my sources warn that there's zero tolerence for OPSEC violations, so I can't talk about what goes on in other circles either. I'm not saying you should believe me about the oil, but that's just what I've heard.
