This is just another childish trick.
First, they spread baseless rumors that China was going to provide weapons to Iran. Then they threatened China not to provide weapons. Finally, when China didn't respond, they claimed that China was afraid of US sanctions and therefore didn't provide weapons to Iran.

Jokes on them when China actually does supply weapons to Iran saying we might as well do it since you are blaming us for it anyways. Enjoy the new fireworks.

As an ordinary person, I certainly hope that Chinese weapons can play a role there. However, China's long-standing foreign policy is difficult to change, and Western media often resort to such tricks precisely because they understand the stability of China's long-term policies.

China controls 70% of global coal gasification industry. You can do your own research and the rest of math on your own.

So I just asked some AI models, and they say in 2024, China's total oil consumption reached approximately 5.98 billion barrels, while its coal gasification industry produced an oil and gas equivalent of approximately 1.02 billion barrels.

It looks like coal gasification industry is contributing a lot.
