Z-21 would be a nice sight imo. Or maybe Russia brings a Ka-52M/Ka-52K for solo or static display. Either way, some helo action would be great.

I for one expect a heavy focus on unmanned systems with regards to ground displays, which makes sense given the nature of the event (advertising your products). I could see a J-35A performance, but I doubt they'll have them on the ground. Maybe a 1:1 static display of a non-flyable article like T-50-7?

I was wondering maybe the prototype for JL-XX might make an appearance. It was rumored before that Hongdu started the project with some intent for export, Zhuhai would be the perfect place for that.
Export was one of the reasons. More important is to keep the aircraft RnD capabilities alive at Hongdu. Without it they will become a missile/guided bombs bureau.

Also, would be nice to maybe have CXF at Zhuhai if they are able to get it rolled off the assembly line fast enough or at least an C919 with CJ-1000A in static display.

The CJ1000A is just about to be installed on the C919 for its first trials. Extremely doubtful that the C919 would make such an appearance at this time.
It's not unheard off for manufacturers to do a public rollout of a brand new aircraft from the assembly line for static display at trade shows. In fact, Boeing 787's initial rollout was done with temporary fasteners and had to be completely swapped out prior to actual first flight.

CXF is now seemingly in assembly phase now, with a bunch of procurement tenders from contractors like landing gear, APU and RAT etc, depending on how fast they can assemble it, it's not impossible for it to be ready by late this year.

I'd rather remain cautious than optimistic.

Also, we're talking about China here, which is pretty well-known for its conservativeness.

How do COMAC get the plane from Shanghai to Zhuhai? By ships?
