The IRIN and IRGCN did operate some catamaran missile boats (the Shahid Soleimani and the Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis-class). Those are the Iranian Type 22s, but all of them got sunk or destroyed during the early stages of the war, and there aren't a lot of them to begin with.
I'd say that if only they had been stowed underneath reinforced structures (whether that be hardened pens or tunnels underneath seaside mountains, which fits Iran's coastal topography quite well) during the opening strikes, then more of them could've survived to fight another day.
Also, they should've poured tons of money into dozens of the smaller, Type 22-counterparts (~250 tons) from the get-go instead of the larger, ~600-ton designs, let alone that absolutely useless ad-hoc cosplay carrier.

reminder once again that these are the people to whom, many, many Americans are dying if not already dead. I hear base hospitals in Germany are running out of blood.
This is actually kind of a big deal isn't it? You could fairly convincingly argue what's happening here with this deal is Iran has dealt enough pain to US that US is starting to pay Iran reparations.
From here it's not actually that big of a logical leap to ceasefire agreement for removing all sanctions on Iran.
Israel says US helped coordinate gasfield attack, despite Trump's claim he knew nothing about it
The Guardian LiveWe’ve just heard from Pete Hegseth. He reiterated the claim from that the US president knew nothing about the attack on Iran’s South Pars gasfield.
However, Reuters is reporting that says its attack on the gas facilities was coordinated with the United States.
Israel has not publicly acknowledged responsibility for the South Pars attack. On Wednesday night, Trump said in a social media post that Washington “knew nothing about this particular attack” and that Israel would not attack the gas field further unless again attacked Qatar.
The three Israeli officials, who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity, said that Israel was not surprised by Trump’s comments.
They described the dynamic as similar to one that played out after Israel struck fuel depots in Iran several weeks ago. After those attacks, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth said that in “that particular case those weren’t our strikes”.
