Since we know US gathering ground troops, do we have any guess where they are going? It is very unlikely a major invasion will work. Small raids were tried but not succesful. If I have to guess they might deploy around Iran to fight Shia militia instead of Iran itself?

Israel is going to participate in the operation by giving intelligence to the US and Gulf States according to Kann. If giving intelligences to the Gulf is participating in the operation then by extension that means the Gulf is involved in the operation. You don’t need the involvement of the Gulf States to blow up Shia militia in Iraq and everywhere west of Iraq. The only place left is Iran.

They're trying to talk down oil prices, and let's face it, they have no idea what they're doing.
Can't rule out Trump sending troops on suicide runs, but they would send CSGs on suicide runs into the strait before doing any ground op without air cover.
