Dozens injured in missile attack on Israel

Dozens of people have been injured after missiles hit a village in northern Israel in the early hours of Friday, Israel's emergency services says.

The Magen David Adom ambulance service (MDA) said paramedics treated 58 patients and took them to local hospitals after the strike in Zarzir, near Nazareth.

A woman who Israeli media said was injured by shrapnel was in a moderate condition, while MDA said 57 others were "in very mild condition from glass shards, with minor injuries".

The Israeli military said members of the Home Front Command have been sent to the scene.

"The forces are conducting a situational assessment at the scene in co-operation with emergency and rescue authorities, in order to clear the scene," the Israeli military said in a statement.

"The circumstances of the incident are under review," it added.

I recall the chahuahui guys humorously referred to this loadout as "KC-18".

According to dogfight brother podcast such a buddy tanker often can only transfer 2-3,000 pounds of fuel before it is out.
They are apparently terrible tankers because they're too heavy and guzzle too much gas themselves. Both of them fondly remembered the older S-3 Viking, retired in 2009, which could give 10-12,000 pounds.

This will never happen. As long as Israel exists in west Asia and not in east Asia then the middle east will always be top priority for the US.

Egypt is like the Arab version of India. Full of a boastful, prideful & impoverished populace who think they are the center of the world the same way that Indians always have this talk about Supapawa this Supapawa that. Yet they are the first ones to jump ship in times of conflict. That is what Anwar Sadat (the old president of Egypt) did, he threw all the other Arabs under the bus the moment he got the chance to do it to get Sinai back.

Depending on Egypt for anything is about as effective as depending on India... you won't get far in life if you do that.
