Honestly it's hard to know the factual extent of damages and effectiveness of equipments with all those fogs of war.
Israel/US will surely try their best to minimize exposing their losses and Iran being isolated and internet being cutoff cant do much either.

Maybe the only way is to get "state of the art" satellite picture from other superpower (wink wink china)? we got a lot of them prior to war, where are they now

There was a Chinese sat photo of a US base post-Iranian attack a few hours ago. I'm sure there will be more in the coming days.

Edit: I disagree with the 100% destroyed statement but this is the one I was looking at a few hours ago: Ali Al-Salem Airbase in Kuwait post-Iranian attack ( )

Maybe, but the fact that the same strike took out some of the most senior members of the Iranian military, means that it wasn't just him they were after. In fact, the US and Israel likely knew where he was all along - but they waited until he was meeting with his top leaders to take them all out; that could not have been the plan from Iran.
Uhhh then its the same incompetence again. Same pattern happened last year. Didnt they learn anything from it

Man it isnt surprising that Khamenei wanted to die a martyr, being shia martyrdom is like the highest religious honour they can achieve especially via the hands of an enemy.
Kudos to Khamenei that didnt ran away like a coward like other leaders or like netanyahu.
But its unfortunate that he held a meeting with other senior leaders and they all died with him.
Atleast have the meeting at a secure place not just at his residence.

For pious Shia Muslims like the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, there's no better or more desirable way to exit this plane of existence than to embrace martyrdom, in particular while in defense of Islam.

Khamenei — as a man of deep religious conviction — most likely put his faith in God and left his fate to Him in lieu of taking extreme security measures, knowing full well that He may bless him with martyrdom.

Yes, I'm not joking: to devout Shia Muslims, martyrdom is considered a blessing granted by God, not an unfortunate or unwanted outcome.
Yep.

Now it remains to be seen if the next leaders of Iran will continue to resist or will someone bend the knee, Iranian people are out in force mourning the death there is def a rally around the flag effect but who knows if they will even take off-ramp offer at this point.
Israel def must feel even more emboldened now.

Don't expect any "Shock & Awe" US-style. If Iran play their cards right they'll eventually make it difficult for the US to remain in the Middle East.
What 'Iranian cards' are we even talking about? The moment the war kicked off, their Ayatollahs and Generals were already getting plastered by bombs smeared with Jewish filth! Talk about a grand strategy lol

I noticed that the Gulf states are not striking back at Iran. Bahrain, Qatar and UAE were all hit directly, yet they're not scrambling fighters and attacking Iran.

Lesson: don't be afraid of escalation. If you can hit hard enough, other countries will proactively look for excuses to not fight you if they have an offramp.
Yeah, they're not, because they're all hostage nations that have to pretend to be pro-USA when all of the people and an unknown portion of the leadership support their Muslim brothers against the US/Israel. They're all doing the absolute minimum needed to not get invaded by the US themselves.

I give credit to Khamenei for fighting and dying for his beliefs.

But Iranians or rather the main enemies of Israel really need to be smarter about how they act.

Israeli Krav Maga is about biting someone or kicking him in the balls when he's distracted etc. Its a very dirty way of fighting but as long as it works, its valid. That pretty much represents how Israel will fight. There is no honor. Only results.

Iran having lousy security or constantly falling for ruses like these fake negotiations is honestly frustrating to watch. How many times are they gonna keep falling for it? If they are full of idiots thats understandable, but we know they have a lot of smart people so its really confusing.
