The Islamic Calendar is a purely Lunar (moon) calendar, hence Islamic New Year falls in June 16th, 2026, which is summer time.

The Chinese Calendar is a LunarSolar (moon/sun) calendar, hence Chinese New Years fall in Feb 17th, 2026, which is spring, spring festival.

Islamic Lunar Calendar is for the Islamic Civilization, whereas the Chinese LunarSolar Calendar is for the Chinese Civilization, which Tet/Seollal is derived from.

Personally, in the United States, I say CNY to my Chinese friend and family, and LNY to my Viet/Korean friends, because pan-Asian unity in US is the default. To white people, I say CNY.

UK might place minimum english test standards and min wage/wealth requirements to get perm residency in the UK. Majority of BNO may not qualified. The BNO couple in the segment whom went from media sales manager to fork lift driver in the UK are concern that they may not qualified.

I’m sure they’ll drive fork lifts just fine in Rwanda. Hope they don’t PTSD when they see the soldiers though…

Make them do a minimum Mandarin level proficiency test before letting them back in Hong Kong. Sorry but Mandarin is becoming more and more important to Hong Kong's future and anyone with brains in HK has recognized this and taken steps themselves to brush up.

The soldier with tavors still marched in PLA style. I guess they changed some of it to make it their own version like how the Tanzanian army uses PLA and British drill to gather

Edit:

Just realised that this is Kagame 2018 parade and Rwandan Army adopted PLA drill in 2019 so this is before PLA drill.
Rwanda Recent parade clearly showed PLA tradition is now fully part of the Rwandan Army they just starting calling commands in Kinyarwanda instead of Mandarin.

Pure lunar calender shifts every year since 12 lunar month is shorter than 365 days.
