I posted a YouTube video where Tibetans are hating on Deepak Chopra because he mocked the Dalai Lama behind his back to Jeffrey Epstein. They said Chopra was making money from his association with the Dalai Lama. Now the Times of India is connecting the Dalai Lama to Jeffrey Epstein. What’s going on here? Aren’t they suppose to be allies? Funny how Buddhism came from India and yet I’ve heard stories about how the Tibetans that have refuge in India are upset that Indians are exploiting off the tourism that the Dalai Lama brings to the location. Sounds like Tibetans are very materialistic.
Indians do not like the cultural and spiritual leaders of the exiled Tibetans; they would love for the Dalai Lama to die so they could assimilate the fragmented exiled Tibetans.

I could already imagine the Western media lamenting the "death of Tibet" after the 14th Dalai Lama dies. Nevermind any subsequent forced assimilation of the Tibetan diaspora by India. China would still be blamed for not allowing the Dalai Lama to return home.

Singapore's greatest value lies in its role as a bridge for multinational capital between China and the United States. As the Singaporean government increasingly aligns with the U.S.-led anti-China bloc, the financial, technological, and talent dividends it once attracted from China through its "Asian neutrality" strategy will vanish. The world will keep turning without Singapore—it will simply find another "neutral nation."
In terms of capital markets, China already Hong Kong for that. Unless the company is specifically sanctioned, there's nothing to stop western investors just getting some HKD and buying stuff there. Hence all the large tech IPOs/secondary listings etc. Singapore doesn't really have such a large capital markets.

So I'm guessing its to evade certain rules or tax?

Irony is that Dalai Lama isn't Tibetan historical development but rather a puppet imposed by the Mongols.

What do they think Trump has been trying to accomplish for 2 terms? What does he think Biden was trying to do with EU help? Plaza Accord 2.0 is what they'd have gotten if they won... but they did the opposite. Now they're just a bunch of losers sitting on the ground covered in their own blood dreaming about bear meat recipes they could have made if they'd beaten the bear instead of the other way around.
Ah,yes the story of the "Belling of the Cat"-the giant, very powerful,can-be-very-angry,Chinese cat on a geopolitical scale-that remembers EVERYTHING from its past history with the now eunuch-mice-euros trying now to Plaza Accord the Chinese Dragon??
