Well, just go back to RedNote then! It's just about the first anniversary of the socmed refugee crisis anyway.

It's actually pretty cute how Americans are trying to influence the algorithm they can't control by brute force censoring everything instead.

For a long time I thought the proverb "there is no 300 pound of silver under this sign" (此地无银三百两)couldn't be real because nobody could possible be that dumb. Then you see Americans just brute force censoring the word "Epstein" thinking it'll make people who see it stop believing US government is run by pedos lol

They were dominant in the propaganda field for so long that they don’t know how to censor effectively now that they’ve lost the edge. Kinda like how Superman doesn’t know how to fight properly when he loses his powers.

So ICE is Gestapo + HAMAs now???
Netanyahu has already said that 'hitler didnt want to kill the jews, it was the palestinians who convinced him' so from his piv gestapo+hamas it is
Shit... I didn't want them to be smart enough to de-escalate. I wanted to see them crank it up until it's full civil war and the whole house comes tumbling down. Hopefully the people realize it's not nearly enough.

Even the retard who said he'd put a 100% tariff on New Yorkers moving to Texas is saying this shit is too crazy:

They werent really getting what they wanted, it backfired amazingly and the some people that are seeing the writing on the wall are abandoning ship INCASE they get implicated later.
It’s hard to think of a future for them without their biggest and most powerful neighbor who is also the world’s Sole superpower at the moment. So it’s normal their economy and military relies heavily on the US. It’s like expecting Mongolia to detach herself from reliance on China. lol Just not possible even if they wanted to. Geography doesn’t play in their favour
All that is fair, but that doesnt mean they should bend the knee and give $30 bn worth of money for F35's which wont even work if US changes its mind and does a 'special military operation'

I came across this article, The US would fly its aircraft into Canadian airspace if the deal of 88 F-35 fails. Is it true? That sounds outrageous.

It has been gratifying to see Canada's political culture actually contest the selection of F-35 over the years, in a way that the political cultures of so many other client states of the American empire have not. In Australia, we just meekly accepted F-35 as a corollary of the broader strategy of "all the way with USA". Labor in opposition made a few noises about seeking access to the F-22, but once in government they quickly clarified that that was just for show. But what I don't understand is how Gripen comes to be seen as the leading alternative offering meaningfully greater sovereignty than F-35. The F414 engine is American and Washington can embargo it anytime they feel like it. Either sovereign capability matters, and therefore neither aircraft is acceptable, or it doesn't and F-35 is therefore a relatively strong proposition in a rather thin field.

Canada’s best bet is to shelf the fighter altogether and go asymmetric.

Embargo won't switch off the plane(unlike F-35, btw).
I.e. it's a reasonable compromise, which also happens to add significant value to the mix(Hi Lo), as it significantly expands the force for given level of money. And plan A is still fighting with americans anyway.

Tbh even if you're going full Iran/Vietnam, it's better to have fighters. Even v US.
The problem isn't that "fighters don't work against US" - they do. They should "just" rely on adequate enough, survivable enough, numerous enough and modern enough system.

Note that in most modern US campaigns, in specific engagements americans didn't necessarily had decisive edge (and in Vietnam, where they did, it wasn't necessarily decisive in their favour, while engaged by aircraft which were...modern, but weren't best available).

What US did have was some degree of tech edge(usually overestimated into "impossible") and reliably working equipment. Match this - and you can introduce a threat.
For better or worse, Gripen E in the coming ~10 years is a reasonably modern aircraft. Not a F-47, but it's certainly comparable to mig-21PF over Vietnam.

The infamous "You raise your voice, I erase your voice" threat video by a Latino immigrant ICE agent with an accent so thick he has plausible deniability on what he said in court.

"Jew race your voice (gotta hit about a G4 sharp to a high A on "voice"), I race your boys."

At this point I'm a little worried about Trump's prospects for the midterms

Without a strong mandate he won't be able to do crazy shit and bring about the collapse of US hegemony

But if MAGA gets annihilated at the midterms, Trump will spend the next two years preparing and just cancel all future elections when his term is about to expire.

It’s basically what he has been preparing for since taking office anyways, only defeat at the midterms will make it that much more unlikely he will TACO this time, as if he does and the Democrats come into power again, the will crucify him, potentially literally, so he will have nothing to loose and everything to gain to become God Emperor.

The most likely route he will take will be to engineer or force a crisis so monumental and existential that the majority of Americans won’t seriously question his suspension of elections until after the crisis has been dealt with. The two most likely and obvious routes are either massive foreign war (aka WWIII) or Civil War 2.0 in the states.

Personally I think Civil War 2.0 is slightly more likely, as Chinese hard power makes a world war unacceptably risky for Trump, since it’s extremely unlikely America can win a conventional hot war against China (going nuclear is pointless as then everyone dies and Trump doesn’t want to die). His biggest enemies are domestic in any case, so it makes perfect sense for him to go scorched Earth with his domestic enemies and wipe them out once and for all to consolidate his power forever at home.

Ironically, for a major foreign war, USA vs the EU is actually just as, if not more likely than NATO vs China and Russia. Since the USA can actually expect to handily curbstomp the rest of NATO, and gobble up Canada into the bargain.

So it’s not out of the question for Trump to split Europe with the Russians like it’s one giant Czechoslovak and sell out Japan, SK and Australia to China while America re-focuses on securing the Americas and eradicating its domestic enemies and turns America into a new giant North Korea.

His wife or kid might get picked up and detained or, in black comedy fashion, his in-laws could get detained.
