I was entertained by the TV show based ones but it got a little corny the longer it went. The Jaffa in the TV series reminded me too much of Dark Helmet from Spaceballs. Stargate Universe was stupid. If they're just continuing the saga and not remaking it, what else can they do? Maybe with more money and better special effects it'll be better.

Andor is the British version of Star Wars. They do that. Even though Tony Gilroy is not British, I read somewhere he’s an Anglophile. I would’ve never guessed… Just like Hollywood started the zombie craze… what did the British do was make a zombie show where it was an allegory of the AIDS epidemic. That’s their way of riding off of someone else’s idea and then claim they did it better by making it intellectual to the point of pretentiousness.

People claim Rogue One and Andor were the same thing. No, actually a lot of the executive creative team in Rogue One had many George Lucas Star Wars alum working on the movie. That’s probably why it was one of the better ones and felt like Star Wars though Lucas wasn’t involved.

So I guess Star Trek Academy is streaming. I'm hearing now they have a Klingon male character wearing dresses... I wonder if it'll turn out he's gay also. They have done that yet.

I remember when everyone had their own lane. I think there was a Marvel movie and a movie that had Lady Gaga in it being released in theaters at the same time and gays were bashing the Marvel movie because they knew the Lady Gaga movie was going to get destroyed in the box office. Like the Marvel crowd would then choose to go watch the Lady Gaga movie if they were successful. Now they're just going to force what they want to see into movies they don't want to see.

It's Star Fleet Woke Crap Academy that's what it is.

First episode of Starfleet Academy… if you dare. Alex Kurtzman, the showrunner and acolyte of JJ Abrams sure love destroying everything people know. With Abrams it was the destruction of Vulcan that ushered in the Kelvin timeline. Here it’s the Burn. Another excuse just to rewrite everything in order to make up new material without the restrictions of following canon. They went back to women wearing skirts… at least for cadets. But nothing sexually appealing. That’s where it seems why I saw a picture of a Klingon wearing a skirt. It looked like he was wearing one of those skirts. So it does look like they are inserting a gay Klingon. From interviews I saw the actor playing the Klingon was gay and he was talking about bringing a new angle on Klingons… which means being gay. Holly Hunter is playing the chancellor/Captain of Starfleet Academy and why is she a Captain? Because Starfleet Academy is now a starship too. It lands in San Francisco (actually Marin,CA) to be a school also. Funny because of the DEI that’s obviously going on with Kurtzman’s Star Trek he has Holly Hunter, a Starfleet officer, who like the stereotype of a woman is able fold up her legs and feet to snuggle up on the Captain’s chair on the bridge like as if she were holding a warm cup of coffee reading a good book… while in emergency situations. WTF! Then they have a holographic computer student going to Starfleet Academy. She’s a computer program so why does she need to go to school? Apparently because she’s only a young seventeen year old holographic computer program. That’s seems the reason they mention. And the actor playing her sticks out like a sore thumb because she’s unattractive especially compared to everyone else except for Paul Giamatti who plays the bad guy antagonist in this episode. I assume he’ll probably show up again.

Well it might be the end of Kurtzman’s Star Trek because that’s what going around because of the new Paramount Studios ownership. I’m open-minded but they just took the DEI stuff too far. It’s like why I didn’t like Ronald Moore/David Eik’s Battlestar Galactica. It was more about the characters’ lives and what they were going through not about story. This Star Trek was obviously trying to do that but with DEI goals in mind. I’m sure they’ll have an episode in the future where they’ll emphasize the conflict within Klingons over homosexuality.
