China should offer military bases to countries with their full consent, to protect them from aggression from the United States. The US strikes the base? Than you have pretext to blockade Taiwan.

they can't , they scare , they don't want to ......and to make matter worst even if they change their mind now ....it no use . their economy style can't withstand heavy economic consequence if they openly counter US via sending weapon , set up military base ... use military power to protect someone US/west hate like that.

their population also show no sight of willing to accept heavy economic consequence for the end game greater good

Unfortunately, I don't believe China will waver because of the situation in Latin America; its power projection is simply insufficient. If Trump wants to manipulate Venezuela, they'll need to observe the behavior of the Venezuelan people and government to determine appropriate measures, as seen in Syria.

Trump's visit to China will proceed as scheduled, given the superficial ceasefire reached.

That being said, we might see something even more crazy than the September 3rd parade at the Zhuhai Airshow and before. After all, the weather is getting worse, and there will be more customers wanting to buy umbrellas.

I already believe China could win against America if America doesn't go ALL in with its entire navy, but I suspect china wants to be so sure of its victory that the war could be won within a day.

You mean you haven't heard much after Trump had his public ceasefire agreement where he praised the Houthis before promptly forcing Israel to ceasefire in Gaza?

no right now china stuck , their economy and population after decades of economic growth in peace now unable to withstand any heavy consequence come from big confict with US/west/allied .

We should not underestimate the intensity of the Pacific War. No, things will not be easy and will be very bloody.
