So Trump has chosen death of the U.S. economy I see. So trying to save a nation that is super indebted to the extreme to a nation that they literally need to survive, sounds like the act of a ‘genius’. I mean the ideology of the USA in pissing of the enemy may work on nations that are small but concerning Chinas record of making nation that messed with them pay the price after a century of planning and waiting for the best time to really lay in the hurt, I honestly don’t think the USA has thought this through at all, they must’ve drowned in their own hype for too long to the point where common sense is dead. Really if they don’t control the supply chain, they seriously should question the wisdom of jumping up and down on Chinas red line and think they are forever safe…

You'll want to read that tweet again. It doesn't say that the US is supporting Japan; it says that Japan says that the US supports Japan. The reality is that the US thinks that Takaichi is a loose cannon and they don't want anything to do with her. That's probably why Japan is getting desperate. That radar lock incident isn't really anything and Japan's protests about it just makes them look weak.
