Has the J-20A version officially entered mass production?
Or it's probably nothing, because as we've established for a while now, engine milestones should have high thresholds of evidence.
The version with WS-10 already entered production along with J-20S earlier this year.
From about the halfway point in this video, Gus makes some interesting observations about J-20 arising from recent close up imagery and info from air shows:
- Deals with 6 voritices (a world first);
- Stealth design optimised from the sides, not front (better than F22 and F35 from side but not front or rear)
- Side-looking radars
- CEC (I thought that was pretty much standard these days?)
- AI-enabled ECM/ESM
More for the record since that image itself isn't really good nor a major news, but since the 56th Air Brigade based at Zhengzhou/Matougang AP is usually rarely seen and per my memory it is only the second confirmed serial number of a J-20: serial number 66076.

On a sidenote can we confirm J-20 uses high amount of composite skin? Because the fact it's still yellow basically everywhere still indicate its metal skinned or maybe it uses GLARE, so external panels are still aluminium.
