Hope they will return safe.
Btw, story of debris hit discovery hours before undocking and departure of sz-20 to earth sounds pretty naive, more likely that spacecraft simply didnt pass preflight checks due to some technical problem/disfunction.
From rumors I’m hearing and a report I read within the hour, it seems they’re going to return them on the SZ-20 craft, not send up the SZ-22 for a rescue mission.

They should always have an emergency spaceship on standby anyway.
They do in this case. Which is good, I agree. Someone else mentioned to me that the rumor may be wrong but I tend to think with the consensus I’m seeing, they are returning on the SZ-20. I’ll try to update tomorrow.

I suppose it's possible, but there's so much junk up there these days I think it's equally possible that it got hit at any point in the last 6 months, and due to the craft being in a powered-down state over that time, the damage went un-noticed until they powered it back on for the return journey. Neither scenario would be surprising to me, really.
