Myanmar/Burma civil conflict

That would mainly by the Bamar elites and maybe Rakhine. For the Karen it might be split with Buddhist Karen aka the majority joining China whiles Christians would be hostile. The Shan would most likely join if Xishuangbanna officials can persuade them. Chin, Kachin and other christians are 100% hostile to China because of Religion because they claim Christianity is part of their idenitity and are hostile to non Christians. Even though the Karen/Kayin it ironic because majority are buddhist and not Christian and the buddhist mostly sided with Tatmadaw or are neutral.
To be clear, I am not saying it would be in China's interests to exert any effort toward this. Instead, it is Myanmar that is retarded not to. They would have so much to gain and almost nothing to lose.

True but if you look at the burmese comments at Chinese Jingpo songs yeah I lost IQ points because they literally do not know that Jingpo people exist in China and it seems to me that they're brainwashed by western media. Myanmar is important to China because China cannot afford an openly hostile Myanmar because they could easily fund separatist movements.

Brainwashed and/or stupid people are worse than animals.

Yeah but maybe it would change in the future because even pro democracy people can see that the west forget about them.
I wouldn't hold my breath though. People don't get smarter. They just incrementally die off and the next generation gradually asserts the new consensus. That's why the brainwashing targets kids the most. To prevent a change in consensus even with the passing of a generation.

Apperently the Burmese buddhist nationalist monk has conncetions to China according to Bangladesh.

It makes sense why China would support Buddhist Nationalists due to conncetions and Christian EAO hostility to China.

Even if a large population supports annexation by China, will the ones with power (state armies with a long list of lucrative and illegal operations) submit to the CCP and give them up when they are bringing real profits directly into their pockets? The ones that would assume power in this semi-autonomous state would be purged in current day China, not to mention, would they willingly become a government employee when they are in effect kings in their small kingdom?

Interesting article about a very legitimate problem in Southeast Asia, but it fails by trying too hard to push anti-China narratives. It is doubtless correct to say that Chinese manufacturers are—directly or indirectly—supplying feedstock to drug cartels. But anyone who has ever worked in a university lab has seen great big containers of toluene, acetone, sodium hydroxide, and sundry ingredients in the supply closet. They are extremely basic chemical inputs with thousands of perfectly legal use cases. The article even acknowledges it indirectly.

Among the 800 tons of chemicals captured in that seizure: toluene, which helps purify meth crystals; acetone, a solvent used in cleaning and preparation; and sodium hydroxide, essential for chemical reactions in the synthesis of meth.

Proving these compounds were being moved for drug production, however, has been tricky, Worranan said. A year into the investigation, charges have not yet been brought.

It's simply a small and illicit piece of a large and normal industry.

The U.N., Interpol and other agencies ask governments to use the global Pre-Export Notification system to seek more details from recipient countries on how potential drug precursors will be used. But China has “low use levels” relative to the scale of its chemical industry and the frequency with which its chemicals are diverted to drugs, according to briefing documents disseminated to law enforcement agencies across Southeast Asia and reviewed by The Post.

If the Myanmar elites were smart, they would self-annex themselves into China by just declaring Myanmar an autonomous region of PRC, declare loyalty to the party, and pay taxes to Beijing. It's pretty obvious which way the global winds are blowing and it's better to be a part of a grand nation with a strong national security apparatus and nuclear arsenal. Better that than to be a weak and unstable state constantly subjected to foreign meddling. I am thinking of that democratic woman who was a Western darling for a very brief time. Is she in jail now or something?
Several charges were filed against her, and on 6 December 2021, she was sentenced to four years in prison on two of them. On 10 January 2022, she was sentenced to an additional four years on another set of charges.
