TCEHY is on its way to $1T market cap.
BABA is on its way to $500B market cap.
BIDU is on its way to $50B market cap.

When will they actually get there? I guess around time the rumor of 5nm indigenous line is materialized. CeeCeePee has just mandated that AI is a national sport just like Mahjong. The only difference is that AI is street legal while Mahjong is home-only legal.
Im surprised the gap between tencent and alibaba is so big. For me Alibaba looks even more promising than tencent giving their edge on new technology/industries like AI, cloud etc.

I think Tencent is evaluated like hyperscalers. Alibaba needs to scale out its cloud business and to scale up its AI business. In the long run, Alibaba is more of high tech than Tencent. The trick for Alibaba is to show numbers in quarterly results. I think it will take 2 or 3 years for BABA to catch up in valuation.

Louis Vincent Gave said something interesting in that video linked above.

He is bullish on energy, something I do not like, and he said that if oil gets to around $85 bucks, then the gold rally could be over, at least for now.

His idea is that if anything bad happens, then the Fed will provide liquidity like always, unless they face policy constraints, which could be a high price of oil which is inflationary, which means it would be difficult to add liquidity in an inflationary environment. Since stocks and crypto and gold kind of move together nowadays, that is very interesting.

So we keep on eye on the oil market.

Didn't someone post in another thread that the Americans were moving bombers and tankers to the Middle East like how they did before when they bombed Iran?

:oops::D

Should we buy stocks on the Hong Kong stock exchange, which keeps on going up?
The HSI is 27K and the all time high is 33K. However the target price set by banks at 27K this year.

Honestly speaking the time to buy was a few months back. Its possible for further growth but the world is rather unstable and its very easy to have a large drop.
