Western countries let them in because they shared a collective guilt stemming from WW2. Asia does not have that. When each of these countries rightfully asks "and what will you bring to the table?", receives an answer along the lines of "it's your duty", and then promptly tells them to f off, watch the tone of these posters change.

After WW2, while some displaced European Jews — in particular from Eastern Europe like the legendary Robert Maxwell — settled in Western Europe, the majority of Jewish migrants made their way to the US and what is now known as Israel.

At that time, the Holocaust narrative that is considered mainstream today, was largely unknown to the West in general, including within the US.

I'm not old enough to know for sure, but to the best of my knowledge, it wasn't blasphemous to challenge or even outright reject claims that Nazi Germany killed six million Jews until the 1970s, if not 1980s, at least in the US.

authorities.

Let's not mince words here: as a nation and people, India is deeply, if not fundamentally hostile against China, and there's "no fixing it."

It makes zero sense for China to permit rare earths exports to India except where necessary for monitoring and when appropriate curtailing Indian industry, especially its defense sector.

TBF, India does a pretty good job impeding the development of its own defense industry, but there's no good reason for China to make things any easier for them.

$300 billion USD is about enough to cover 1/3 of the Department of Defense's annual budget, and the US military's upkeep isn't even the US government's most costly expenditure!
They're cannibalizing not only their own vassals, allies, partners, etc. but also cannibalizing their own economy now. All to fund tax cuts for the rich.
