It seems that the front landing gear is single wheel, that would mean it is J-35A. The horizontal stablizer is the conventional type. Considerring this is most likely serial production, I think we can now settle that both J-35 variants dropped the fancy option (in the paper). Also it means that some J-35As flown in the show were painted prototypes.
