China gov CCTV video with AI English narrator. The narration is excellent for AI I must say, and this is accessible and clear for those without Chinese language knowledge. This shows a self propelled mortar with an advanced fire control system and guided mortar rounds. Detail on the quality processes in making the 120mm barrel which is the key part of any artillery system. This video is great for educational purposes. We don't have a lot of videos covering mortars as they're not one of those sexy weapons.
Always felt that mortars are underrated and doesn't get enough credit in a fast reaction battle even with drone intensified ones. Mortars show their place when combat goes into urban and hilly terrain.

This appears to be the ammo supply vehicle for the new howitzer.
Nah, I think it's still using ZBD-05A chassis. Last road wheel gap & front armor arrangement are the clues.

The chassis of PCL, especially 181, is actually customized for artillery, rather than an existing commercial platform. After very careful design, the whole system is not cumbersome but compact, does not need too many autoloaders and mechanical arms, while maintaining extremely high shooting stability. Hope someone can use AI to translate it into English.
This channel also introduces truck-mounted artillery systems from other countries. To be honest, after watching the PCL series, almost every viewer can see that these truck-mounted artillery systems have more or less insurmountable shortcomings and compromises, which makes the superiority of the PCL design even more apparent in comparison.
