The appearance of a prototype might indicate that J35 is not yet in service production, or the initial production has just started but not in IOC yet. This can be construed as further confirmation that J35A production is ahead of J35.

There has been skid marks seen on the 003, so it probably has done catapult takeoff but just want to do even more.

Truth be told we can’t be sure that it is J-35. Could’ve been J-15T.

... and IMO much more likely. You test a proven system first off a new aircraft carrier and not an unproven fighter first!

Wow! I really really like these nozzles, especially the petals. Dare we say these are WS-19? (pretty please)

Cockpit look is nice; hope we see that possible new helmet soon too.
