The Iranians need to be ready for a larger regional conflict.
You know, I used to always make fun of movies where alien invade earth then proceed to spend all their time shooting at cars, but now that you think about it, considering who's writing those scripts they might actually believe killing civilians is how you win wars.
The west always equated killing with fighting, it's the nature of their culture and how they approach all their wars. Its also why they lose most of their wars. Iran's problem has always been internal security and unity and blatent terrorism is exactly how you unite them. It also signals US and Israel no longer has any ability to damage Iranian military.
Trump left the G7 early. Going back to Washington.
I'll believe it when I it. Sadly, even if it happens the benefits from a Chinese perspective may be minimal at this point. They're not getting dragged into a land war, it'll be a short air campaign and even if unsuccessful the groveling Iranians have proven themselves eager to forgive & make peace with no consequences. They're looking unlikely to even be able to inflict meaningful attrition on USN or USAF assets at this point.
