What do u guys expected Iran to do? Singlehandedly fight all the Major non-NATO allies in the area to get to Israel?Iran's indecision has proven profoundly costly. They have abandoned their proxies one by one, they let Israel operate with impunity. They failed to establish deterrence. You have to establish deterrence. Like Churchill said: “You were given the choice between war and dishonour. You chose dishonour, and you will have war.'
First of all India is just plain incompetent and not really menacing, not comparable with israel. Pakistan had the advantage from the start with advanced chinese and western weaponry and an competent air command. Compare Pakistan to Iran with cold war era equipment and jets from the 1980s.Compare Iran to Pakistan.
Pakistan is poorer in every way yet they couldn't even be infiltrated by either the US or India.
This is while Indians can literally speak Urdu and some of top Indian leadership was even born in Pakistan ie PM Manmohan Singh.
Israel and Iran share no significant demographic groups, how the f they infiltrate if it wasn't for willing traitors?

We are all pro Iran here. I would never support a state like Israel but the point is that Iran should have spent more money on defense and actually focused on the threat that they were facing. They clearly underestimated the threat. They should have been better prepared to deal with this threat. Otherwise, what's the point of being anti west for 30 years, facing sanctions and ruining your economy? They should have built the bomb years ago instead of giving threats of nuclear attack without actually having the capability. What do u guys expected Iran to do? There is no moderate or secular without also being western worshippers. That doesn't exist in a country like Iran. Islamism is not just about religiousity in a country like Iran, its also political. You can't kill the hardliners and bring moderates into power. When hatred is created, it only creates more extremism, more motivation for revenge.Yes but how has these attacks affected civilian life? Has the sanctions changed? Based on this first strike Israel can just keep killing hardliners until moderates come into power. Moderate does not mean democratic, just a return to secularism.
Iran borders Russia over the Caspian Sea. If China wanted they could supply Iran easily. At this point, there is no way for China to help Iran unlike Pakistan unless they both bordered to each other. There are several countries between Iran and China so it is not easy for China to deliver weapons to them.
Yeah basically.I felt like after Israel/US got rid of one of their roadblock, Iran. U.S and its allies will set their sights on China next. Possible preemptive strike in the next several years? I hope China is ready for the possible scenario.
It is easy to talk while Israel and the US have nukes and they didn't. Iran played the long game. I think they did ok but I don't trust the current President. Which got into power after the previous one conveniently died in a helicopter crash.Iran is afraid of conflict with Israel thats what they are. Israel has been slowly and steadily cutting off all of its proxies the past year and a half. And Iran has seemingly just laid down and taken it. When Israel does strike Iran, they give a disproportionately weak response as a “warning”. What kind of good does that do for them? They’re not establishing deterrence with that, the Israelis will be emboldened and simply strike again, even harder the next time. The insane passivity that Iran is demonstrating when Israel is clearly out for regime collapse is baffling, like hell the existence of your state is in the line here and you’re just out here issuing strong statements.
Building a nuke literally gives US reason to attack. Iran was weaker before; they wouldn't had stood a chance. We are all pro Iran here. I would never support a state like Israel but the point is that Iran should have spent more money on defense and actually focused on the threat that they were facing.
