Coming from a different angle, Bloomberg published a piece on how Pakistan outmaneuvered India diplomatically during ceasefire talks:

US and Trump getting involved goes against longstanding Indian policy of keeping Kashmir localized.

Meanwhile Pakistan has long tried to globalize the issue to put pressure on India.

The biggest coup is re-hyphenating the two countries.

Hey, maybe India will figure out to stop trying to suck Trumps dick's and sabotage the BRICS to earn the US favor, but I won't be holding my breath on that one.

the Russian awacs was shot down by Patriot, thats atleast the claim of the Ukrainians.
That turned out to be an Il-76 with POWs, they recently admited to it.
Rivet Joint and MQ-9C flew openly (on public radar) in the Black Sea; maybe even AWACS, until drone incident with Russia. Since then, USAF doesn't often display open presence.
The role of both of those is different from an AWACS though and it was about finding gaps in SAM coverage and controlling the USV's. Then there is the whole thing about being NATO assets flying in international airspace so there isn't much the Russians could do about it other than harass them out of range.

The issue I am talking about here is RoE. PAF could see IAF coming in, but couldn't shoot, until IAF started bombing the camps. Similarly IAF wasn't supposed fire against Pakistani military in any way unless fired upon.

What this means is that IAF was allowed the first hit on the camps. While PAF was allowed the first hit on IAF.
Camps aren't shit; they're just areas on the ground. Fighter aircraft are constantly on offense and defense and the Rafale is the pinnacle of technology in India.
The results point in the same direction. The target camps were pretty much all hit. While PAF scored multiple IAF aircraft.
Except India has absolutely no proof that any "terrorists" were killed.
Over the next 3 days, despite its intensity, the result of the air battle was a draw.
Air battle lasted 1 night; India got decked. There was no 3 days of air battle because after that, the IAF didn't dare come anywhere close to Pakistan.
Because the RoE changed to open for all. If PAF was that superior as people are making it out to be, it would have been different.
Different from multiple Indian jets killed with no loss to Pakistani aircraft?

NATO AWACS don't even see into eastern Ukraine; they're just too far.

And Russian ones were thrown out of theater by reanimated Ukrainian s-200s(probably polish digital upgrade).
NATO AEW are deployed over Poland and Romania, they can cover northern and southern flanks of the Line of Engagement. You can also add high altitude drones over the Black Sea. Anyway, lack of AEW or at least HALEs on Indian side is incomprehensible, their situational awareness must have been dismal.

The evidence is pretty much overwhelming at this point. The fact that IAF didn’t even acknowledge that aerial combat occurred on the seventh, banning of 8000 OSINT accounts, house arrest of the deceased pilot’s family, and arrest of Indian citizen disseminating “lies of Rafale shootdown”, and the grudging acceptance of aircraft loss during Q&A session are all strong circumstantial evidence that they received the pimp slap of a life time and didn’t even know how to form a coherent cock and bull story like they did in 2019. Not to mention how we have photographic and video evidence, accidentally released by Indians BTW, of crashes of Indian aircraft on their side of the border getting systematically censored between the 7th and the 10th.

In short, we need a skill book called Coping BJP Style for the Fallout: New Delhi expansion. Cover will have a photo of Modi against a backdrop of a burning Rafale.

Well, to be fair, can it be called combat when one side is just getting absolutely hammered without the ability to fight back?

So I would agree that no aerial combat took place, it was an aerial beat down.
