That's really how it should be in a properly functioning capitalist economy. There should be plenty of competition for everything so that no one makes an excessive amount of profit.
Yeah negotiations aren’t going well at all. If the Japanese are confused on what the US wants. These “negotiations” aren’t going anywhere. China is simply waiting Trump out. When store shelves in the US goes empty and inflation spikes this will lead to civil unrest. The Trump team isn’t competent at all. And they likely are underestimating the backlash from the American people. Trump is truly Gorbachev. I’ll say he is even worse.
This is incompetence beyond the pale. They clearly have no idea what they are doing. This is going to be an even bigger fuck up than Covid in 2020. Trump has surrounded himself with yes man. This is going to end in catastrophe.

To be fair Trump doesn’t even know what he wants either. Kinda hard to negotiate when there are no terms.
Trump's malignant narcissism means he wants to be a winner in his own eyes, and that often means the humiliation of the other party who has to abase themselves in abject surrender. He has no specific concrete goals and terms because that's not really why he's doing this on a psychological level.

Like, if this was true then Trump was right, he is most certainly winning and winning so much that Americans will be asking for him to stop winning so much!
