AVIC munitions promo, A2A, A2G, SAM...etc
- The PL-12 sequence emphasizes "Strong anti-EW-jamming" does this imply some sort of Home-on-Jam capability or am I reading too much into it?
- The PL-108 seems to have a significant range boost of 17km compared to the PL-90 (6km). Still, we haven't seen a SAM variant of it.
- The LD-8A, which is thought to be an ARM variant of the PL-15, looks to have one of the shortest ranges (70km) among other ARMs like the CM102, LD8, AMM10, and YJ91. Also, in dimensions it's much shorter than a standard PL-12/PL-15, so it could be a shortened, single-pulse PL-15 with less propellant or an entirely different missile.
- Related to ARMs, the AMM-10 missile developed by SAST is a multi mission missile with good adaptability for multiple platforms. It can perform Air to Air, Anti Radiation and Surface to Air (the last is not confirmed although it is often displayed alongside SAMs). Its range in Air to Air mode is 60KM in Anti-Radiation mode 180KM with an SSKP of ≥ 0.8. The company also has the TY-14, another supersonic Anti Radiation missile with dual seeker (Passive radar + IIR) that is reminiscent of Germany's ARMIGER, Its "HSARM" acronym stands for "High Speed Anti Radiation Missile" it's max range is 150KM.
