If Americans don't pay the tariff then why not a zillion percent tariff? A zillion percent tariff would mean they would make no money from the US so they wouldn't even bother selling in the US. But somehow Trump thinks just selling something to an American is worth going bankrupt and in debt to the US just for the honor of selling to an American. That's where you get Chinese thinking where you can have the best products available but if Americans don't buy it, it's a failure.
The reality is that it is both. It is simply an unprecedented situation first startrd by the capitol riot. Never before had people lost so much faith in the government. Then Biden assumes the presidency and it was supposed to get better, but in fact everyone feels it got worse and he is couped by his own party. Then the so called “worst president” is re-elected. Literally none of these things ever happened before in the last 100+ years.
