The big guy needs to be at the G20 so that China, rather than some other countries, can provide leadership.
Don't think China and others really care anymore they have BRICS, ASEAN, SCO matters to attend too. The Gx conferences are western parties..

So US companies lost market share in the world's semiconductor market, which means the strategy is an absolute failure now that China can do 7nm and even down to 5nm, so 5 years behind TSMC.
The cope of: TSMC and Samsung will be at 3nm soon, SMIC lag.....those aren't American companies though. How does foreigners keeping at leading edge help compensate losses US sanctions against China? Mind boggling...
